"I stayed at Alpine Lodge for two nights and paid over $700 for what was advertised as a "Superior King" room. Don't be fooled by the name—this is essentially a regular, modest motel room. There is no reception desk. When you arrive, you can't even access your room until you receive a text or email with a link, complete the online registration, and then wait for the door code. "Lovely place to stay. Confusion over breakfast which was not provided that morning was fixed with a refund. Got lucky the restaurant which according to the website was supposed to be open and wasn’t, actually had the chef in house so we did have dinner. Food was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend staying here when restaurant is open."

"The property is conveniently located in the heart of Lake George Village, making it easy to walk into town and by the lake. The docks on the lake offer beautiful views and the pool area was well maintained. My only complaint is that our room had a large number of flies that never seemed to stop appearing. Otherwise the property is clean and well maintained with a courteous and friendly staff."
