"This is our second time at the Windermere. We love the helpful staff, clean room, 10-15 walk from Victoria Station, and (included) breakfast. Plus they honored the Expedia perks. Highly recommended for a cozy stay in a safe area. "

"The room was spotlessly clean and the reception staff very friendly and interested. Unfortunately breakfast is not provided and this should be made clearer on the advertising. Not a big problem though as there are plenty of eateries close by."

"Internet was generally reasonable. Beds firm but that was a good thing. Didn't try the breakfast as it seemed quite expensive for a continental option only. We were pre-warned about the lack of a lift to the second floor so that was fine. Slight confusion at check in as Expedia indicated 50% had already been paid but that didn't seem to be the case. Overall I would recommend the place if you need an affordable option in that area."

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. Even though it was on a busy street, there was no noise and the room was very quiet. The underground station was just a 5 minute walk away making connections to London or Heathrow very simple. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk of the hotel. I was not able to have breakfast due to an early departure for a flight so cannot comment on that. Parking is provided off street...

"This hotel is fine and very close to Paddington station, I booked a double room for less than £60 which is a very good price for central London, the room, the bathroom & bedding were all clean and the hotel was quiet when I stayed mid-week "
