"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. "Breakfast was good, staff friendly & professional. Good leisure facilities. Bar peices very reasonable. Superior Room tired, needs some TLC. No pillow protectors !! "

"Parking and check in were easy. We had to request a hair dryer and when that finally arrived we had noticed there was no tv remote control. So had to ask for that as well. The curtains were broken and hanging off the track in several places. The pipes made a squealing noise when the shower was turned on.
