"We had a wonderful stay! The place is in the heart of the old city, well located just around the corner from the Cathedral. We were a group of three adults and fit nicely into the place, two in the upstairs room and one on the fold-out bed downstairs. In the specific apartment we stayed in there was a narrow little mini-spiral staircase between the two floors that we found charming and fun, but perhaps worth noting in case you have mobility issues. "The Toledo Parador is excellent - the staff are charming and the views over Toledo are breathtaking . Our room was clean and the breakfasts were tasty. Despite giving the Parador 5 stars for everything, we had one quibble which was worth no stars! - the precise location of our room. We stayed in room 423 - which is approached via an open corridor balcony overlooking the reception area. Our own room balcony (facing Toledo) was above the hotel cafeteria. As a result, there was constant noise and chatter from the cafeteria all day, particularly from the cafeteria patio one floor below our balcony. And to make matters worse, late night revellers, returning to the hotel at 2am, would talk loudly at reception which immediately woke us up. We have no hesitation in recommending the wonderful Toledo Parador but, if you have a choice, do NOT stay in room 423!! "
