"Needs more cleaning. Bathroom smells terrible."

"The entire place smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke, or fragrance to try and cover up the other smells. They are using the hotel for over flow of section 8 housing so there are homeless people all around the property and in the hotel. There were people doing drugs outside the hotel and no staff member did anything about it. I did not stay and asked for a refund where the staff was very dismissive. I ended up getting a refund from Expedia. I would not recommend this facility and do not...

"I stayed at the St Charles hotel for a wedding weekend getaway. It is very basic accommodations. The location is great for walking into downtown but there is a park right across the street that seemed to attract a not-so-great crowd. Lobby smelled like cigarettes which was a turn off. The room was all I needed for a weekend stay. It seemed like the room and furniture had been renovated recently and the room was overall o-k. "The Quality Inn is a clean and efficient facility. A freight line runs along the rear of the property. At approximately 1:10am every night, a freight train runs by the property. The train causes vibration in the room and the horn is quite loud. The hotel is fine but the freight line destroys sleep. Everything except this issue is fine."
