"Wonderful Hotel. Staff is very attentive and responsive. Both restaurants serve very tasty food. Plenty of off street parking. Would recommend and will book again if visiting Clofden."
"What a wonderful hotel and stay! The atmosphere was cozy and fantastic. The staff was very welcoming, courteous, and hospitable. And, the location - being an actual castle in a beautiful setting - was superb. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners/managers of the hotel. He kept looking after us and made us feel like long time friends. If you are planning a trip to Ireland, we recommend the breathtaking area of Conamara and a stay that unique and beautiful Abbeyglen Castle...
"Highlight of our trip! Beautiful hotel, amazing art collection on all the walls, great bar with excellent food (also the best dining of our weeks in Ireland), numerous comfortable lounges and outdoor areas to sit and walk…. I hope we’ll return"
"This was a b&b above the beach bar so excellent location. Rooms recently renovated, spotless and comfortable. Food served at breakfast and in the bar was tasty and good quality. The service was outstanding and friendly."
