"Our room was opposite the lift and having arrived late, we were then woken very early (6.10am) by the ding dong sound of the lift as well as the sounds of people talking. The sound insulation along the corridors is awful. The staff kindly moved us to a different room, which helped with the lift sound but not the talking of other residents which started at 7.30am on a Sunday. Due to all the tiled floors sound seemed to reverberate around the hotel. The hotel seems to be going under renovation so...

"Second stay since it became Vcity and this one was much better. Stayed in room 106 which can be a little noisy earlier in the evening but fine for sleep. No issues with the room or facilities. Communication with host good."

"Unfortunately our stay here wasn't the best. Firstly the roads round it are all closed off so finding the place was extremely difficult. It seems that I was sent an email to advise us that we would be offered a room in a sister hotel. I never recieved it so we turned up expecting to stay here. It took for ever to get there then the signs for the place are awful. In fairness to them it appears they have only just opened but this wasn't mentioned when I booked.
