"In the 25 plus years I have been staying in OBX this place has had the most comfortable beds EVER! And I have been in motels, hotels, rental houses through companies as well as Vrbo and such. Walkable to the beach and restaurants were nice as well."

"The continental breakfast waffles were great! Everything was fully stocked. The bed was also great. The pillows were a little on the small side. Housekeeping was very helpful. Loved the pool!"

"We loved our stay at the Blue Heron Motel. Right on the beach, close to everything that you would need. It is not a new, fancy hotel (which is what we wanted). It was clean and larger than expected. The only thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the window in case guests wanted to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!"

Central location to everything whether it is the beach, the stores, or downtown, you are less than 20 min to all. only thing i would say was one of the front desk staff women at night was not friendly at all upon arrival which was kind of disappointing but other than that, the rest of the staff was very pleasant. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone coming to Wilmington !"

"Everything felt fresh, new and clean. Check in was easy and the gentleman at the desk was very pleasant. We only stayed one night during our road trip, but it was an excellent choice. The beds were extremely comfortable and blankets soft and felt like home. I would stay here anytime, especially if it was a business trip, because there was a nice lounge area to work in if needed."
