"Sarah provided exceptional hospitality, going out of her way to show us the amenities. Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. Breakfast at Warda was “next level” and we appreciated having the vouchers for breakfast each day. Would recommend ALEO to anyone and would stay there again."

"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street.
The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected.
The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles.
I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

"Great location! Clean, well-equipped, open and spacious apartment. We got a premium one. It was a corner apartment, so we enjoyed a lot of natural light. Cookies in the room were an unexpected and tasty treat!
It was a bit noisy at night, but the white noise machine took care of that nicely. Smart touch.
We plan to return some day. :)"

"The room was not what we expected. The beds were hard as a rock. The pillows were so thin they were barely considered pillows. We had no refrigerator. The cabinet was empty, where the refrigerator used to be. The bathroom was important condition. The toilet was barely flushing. the faucet was extremely loose. The pool was closed while we were there for cleaning, but we never saw anyone actually cleaning it and as far as the breakfast goes, it’s a bagel and a waffle or a bowl of cereal were not...

"Last min stay. My room was very small compared to the picture, musky feel. My curtain kept opening up which made me use my hair clip to close it completely. I had to put a bandaid over the eye hole of the door, if not you could completely see the room inside! I booked it for 2nights, but ended up staying for only 1."
