"I was travelling with a pet for a one-night stay. I booked through Expedia. The listing stated that the hotel was pet friendly, but did not state that there was an additional $25.00 pet fee per night. I found this out from the clerk who checked me in. I was not happy about that, but I paid it. The grounds were not great for pets. There was not much grassy area for pet bathroom breaks and no bags available to pick up pet waste. The side entrance nearest to my room did not open with the key card,...

"They have added parking fees to park yourself in their completely empty lot. Then put 2 women in a 1st floor balcony room that didn't have a lock on the balcony door. I spent an additional $100 on a room with an amenity that doesnt exist and no one told us the door to the "balcony" had no lock. I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times and refer friends and family there when they visit. I will never stay in another Marriott property. "Clean linens, but there was still hair in the shower, the jacuzzi felt like you were going to fall through it when you were standing in the shower, and the external part of the jacuzzi where it covers the motor was falling off of the tub/wall. The shower wall (plaster) was falling apart, and it was questionable as to if we would find used needles on the carpet based off of the feel of the hotel. Anywhere we went, we were eyed like we were going to get mugged, and we weren't even dressed fancy."
