"The staff was super nice, the property was clean. The breakfast was the typical mediocre breakfast. The room was "decent". It did have a LOT of peeling wallpaper around all the fixtures, but the absolute worst part, was the pillows. They smelled HORRIBLE!!! Moldy, musty, mildewy. Like all the wet heads laying on it and never being washed. I even put a towel over it amd didnt help. I slept without one. Other than that, I'd probably stay there again, in a pinch. But absolutely, I would smell the pillows before using them to get different ones. "
"This stay could have been a lot better. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk staff was friendly. However, there were many aspects of the property that needed repair, including the extra lock on the room door. There were no sheets on the fold out bed and the sheets that were brought did not fit properly. There was also no hand soap in the room and when I asked for more, I was told the hotel was out. It was a clean bed for the night, but overall the amenities and property were seriously lacking. "
"The Holiday Inn at Meridian was a very pleasant experience compared to other hotels where I have stayed. The staff and entire building was what everyone wants when traveling. The only thing that I saw that was not at the same level as the rest of the staff was the waitress at the restaurant who was also bartending and it was obvious this wasn't her normal job. She didn't know or understand how to make the drink I ordered but did try to correct her mistake. Other than that, everything was fantastic."
