"Run down. Definitely not a 4 star hotel."

"Excellent breakfast, the building is kind of old, but it was clean. The room on the too small side but ok. Bathroom was very small…"

"The room was clean and tidy and very pleasant. The staff were very helpful, kind and cheerful. Breakfast provided a good choice of cereals and a variety of hot breakfasts."

"Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!"

"Fantastic property in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town. Sean was incredibly accommodating from the minute I arrived, providing me with books and information of snowdon routes ahead of my climb! Absolute 10/10 breakfast cooked by sean, again he was very accommodating providing me the option to have it earlier than the usual time so I could get up the mountain quicker. If I ever return I’ll be sure to stay here again, fantastic stay."

"Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious and quickly prepared and served. Hotel is situated within 15 minutes drive from seaside town as well as...

"Brian was very welcoming and helpful with all our queries. Room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and well organised. Close to the Pier and beach. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay 😁"

About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. The check-in / bar staff were a little less helpful, including dinner service -...

"We had a lovely stay, breakfast was amazing!! The only thing we can fault is the bed, it was so hard and uncomfortable that we felt bruised and battered the next morning! Would of definitely stayed another night if it hadn’t of been so uncomfortable as the weather picked up on the day we were leaving "
