"I last stayed in The Venetian 13 years ago, and thought then it was the best hotel I'd ever stayed at. I took 11 friends with me for my belated 50th birthday this time, and it's still the best hotel any of us have ever seen, and there was a lot of experienced world travellers in the group. The rooms (and the hotel itself) have magnificent decor, and are extremely spacious and meticulously clean. The hotel and casino facilities are excellent, and of course, the grand canal is something else… and yes, I have been to Venice. Obviously, it’s not cheap to wine and dine in the hotel itself, and if you’re on the 28th floor in the North Tower, you can be waiting on an elevator for a while, but this is a Vegas must-see and stay."
