"The location and the gardens were beautiful. Although we didn’t have the higher priced ocean views we did have a nice view of the fabulous gardens pool and city. The hotel is vintage but very clean and very well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic with both hot food fresh fruit, cereals and a wide variety of breads meats and pastries. The wait staff was very friendly and the view from the restaurant is amazing. I would recommend this hotel."

From Genny in the cafe by the pool, to Antonio or Emilio at the desk, the staff making up the rooms, or anyone in the breakfast room (our bkfst waiter from Poland was delightful and a polyglot) , or driving the complimentary shuttle to Capri, everyone was most helpful, professional, and warm. The reason I put 4 stars on Expedia is because it’s misleading when it says “beach access” The only want you can access the beach is walking to the other side of a different hotel and you have to pay to go to the beach. I think the ad on here is misleading and they should remove that part because my husband and I really wanted to go to the beach and felt lied to. "
