"Most staff was kind and very helpful. Property older but clean. But I was very frustrated to be charged for water bottles I was given upon arrival without asking. When I mentioned it at check out, I was told that it couldn’t be refunded. The price was outrageous. I’m very disappointed as this is a hotel chain that we seek out and had found to be reliable."

"The room wasn't very clean, there were drinks left in the refrigerator, and something had been spilled in it that was not wiped out. The reservation said the room would be ready for check in at 3:00, but it wasn't ready until almost 4:00. The staff was apologetic and friendly, but overall a little disappointed."

"Staff is AWFUL. Definitely the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Check in is 3 PM. We checked in at 3:20 PM and they told us to come back in a few hours as our room was not ready. They had no solution until I asked if I can receive a discount as I was heading to a concert and wouldn’t be able to use my room until after midnight since it wasn’t ready. There was multiple check ins this happened with as we were checking in and management was trying to run out for the day to avoid helping paying guests....

"This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

"The room was very clean amd the beds were very comfortable. However, the AC wouldn't stay on and had to be switched on every 30 minutes. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee with a sign stating they are only required to offer the bare minimum. Ultimately, I would not stay here again."

"The Goodwin is a shell of its former self. Bar is not open on Sundays or Mondays, breakfast was worse than a Comfort Inn. Zero amenities. The Valet staff was wonderful. The rest of the staff was next to useless. Asked for 1 hour late check out and was just summarily told no."
