"Despite some other visitors concerns I had a lovely experience. Easy to book, called a couple of times before to discuss arrival times and confirm bookings, staff were pleaseant and helpful on the call. On arrival on a busy and noisy Friday night, staff again were lovely and helpful, locals/regulars didnt stare or make us feel unwelcome, found parking right in front of the property, basically it was seamless - very welcome after a long night drive. Rooms were spacious, well-equipped and clean....

"They accommodated our group of four with one double bed and two single beds in the same room to avoid extra costs. I cannot say enough about the breakfast, which cost only 10 SBP per person. One hot menu choice and unlimited continental and drink choices included. I have found nowhere else that does that, at least on our Scotland trip. If your travels take you anywhere near Oban, book this hotel! "

"I’ve been staying at this Muthu for many years now. The reasons for coming back have been the view, facilities and the ease of parking. Recently, the staff have remained consistent and I’ve found them to be polite, pleasant and happy to engage. We love the lounge area and the pool. Some updating could be done, but the rooms have the dated quirkiness which is appealing. It would also be nice if repeat customers were recognised for their loyalty. I’m not sure if Muthu’s systems allow for such...
