"Second time visiting here and we decided to go for one of the suites. Definitely worth the money we celebrated my birthday and was left a lovely little note with a treat on the bed as well as the bath in the room! Very clean and made use of the pool in the evening which was quiet we went about 8pm had it to ourselves. Breakfast was a little slow as we only 1 member of staff on but apart from that good selection. Everyone was really friendly. Would recommend"

"Room was really clean and comfortable, with some nice touches that elevated the experience. The rooms open straight off the car park, which perhaps doesn’t sound great but it improved accessibility and once in the room you couldn’t tell any difference between that and a normal hotel room. Tea and coffee facilities were supplied, but that was it in terms of catering facilities. This is stated on the listing and was no problem, but you should be aware as there are no onsite facilities for food and drinks, and the local pubs are are a walk down a road with no pedestrian walkways. We took food with us so had no problem. It surroundings are very peaceful and quiet, and it’s only a 20 min drive into the centre of Cardiff. We also had our dog (Labrador) with us. There was plenty of space and the fact the room opened onto the small car park was helpful to take him out."

"The property had great views and rooms fantastic but a lack of hand rails if you have accessibility issues. To get from the upper level to the out side lower level meant a ramp that is to steep under health and safety regulations. The wifi was non existent in the 21st century and never connected over a 7 hour period which meant I could not check on train departures or on line check in for my flight. Which cost me an extra £25.00 at airport. Very poor for 21st century. The cost of staying here was not an issue for me being a wheelchair user but you pay for what you get. And think I didn't get value for money."
