"Stayed in room 16 and it was beautiful! Everything was clean and ready. The shower curtain rod needs to be attached to the wall better and the toilet wasn’t stable but the rest of the room made up for those things"
"Ok, the person I met at reception was friendly. But after that it went down hill fast. The whole building seems very run down and the walls very thin. I could hear conversations in the next room easily. There was no kettle/coffee maker, just a rusty microwave and small fridge. The better parts of my experience were the shower, which seemed a recent renovation project and the bed, which was very comfortable. However the room was extremely noisy, with loud traffic noise all night from big rigs and trucks passing regularly disturbing my sleep. From the pictures, it looks quaint and “old world” but I shouldn’t have believe those pictures, in my opinion it’s very overpriced and would still be, even at half the price I paid."
"Excellent place to stay, beautiful outdoorsy, non traditional, however the check in process was very confusing and vague. And the property manager hovered the entire time we were there which was a bit strange and off-putting
"
"Do not reccomend. Very unclean. Room was very noisy and blood was on the bathroom floor. Sheets had stains and mirrors were in less than desirable places, which made us feel uncomfortable. There were extension cords leading out from the room below us which was covered up by foil. No gas station and only 1 bar to get food. Front desk woman was very kind, but the overall feel of this place was very horror movie."
"We were visiting family friends so we didn’t spend much time there but I would definitely come back. We stayed in a cottage and it was comfortable for 3 of us (1 couple, 1single). It was great having a full kitchen but we only had time to use the fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The floor/ceiling fan needed a cleaning but that was nothing compared to all of the positives. Beautiful grounds and John that checked us in and out was very helpful and friendly. "
