"Seriously, folks, we must have stayed when the hotel was understaffed. The bed in our room had a yellowish wet spot in the middle of the mattress which forced us to switch rooms. The “fitted” bed sheets were placed 90 degrees the wrong way and kept coming off. The toilet seat was not fastened to the toilet. The room frig’s 4-inch wide freezer was iced over so much that you could only fit something 1-inch wide in it. The hallways were messy. The only redeeming quality was the honest efforts of the high school staff to help correct things. PS, don’t go to the attached restaurant on karaoke night unless you’re deaf, because the screechy voices of the locals will impair your hearing, which apparently was the reason why the DJ had the volume so high. "
"Traveled to Hartington to pick up livestock and was referred to the Cobblestone by the sellers. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating!! Kay went above and beyond, checking us in and even giving us a complimentary (normally not free) bath bomb to help with the long drive. She even referred us to the Mexican restuarant around the cornerr for dinner. On our return from dinner we hopped in on a card game with the staff. Super fun and friendly! Would definitely stay here again!!"
