"It was a very well kept property. The rooms were clean and staff was hospitable. The only thing we would have liked that was NOT included was a continental breakfast. They did have a restaurant attached that served breakfast. It was just an extra expense we weren’t anticipating. Otherwise, extremely happy with our stay."

"I'm a senior and have never been in a large hotel like the Sheridan. When I walked in and was wondering what to do, a young staff member asked if he could help me. I told him why I was there and he asked if I was registered. I said yes, so to the computer we went. He asked for my driver's license for identification purposes, had me sign a document and gave me the keys to my room. He gave me exact directions on how to get to the room. My questions may have sounded routine to most people,...

"We stayed here for the waterpark. The kids really enjoyed the waterslide and pirate ship area. The pool area was nice. The room needed some serious TLC .. there was paint chipping and screw holes in the walls they never covered up. The bathroom was disgusting. All the caulk around the shower was black. The room was so dark. We had every light on and still couldn’t see. The layout of the room was nice and spacious, it has potential if they’d put a little work into cleaning it up."

"Location is great! It is close to popular attractions. Room is nice and clean. The lady who checked us in was kind of stern and not so welcoming. But the other staff(sorry did not get her name) was very helpful and accommodating. Parking was a challenge, parking lot was small and lucky if you find a spot."

"Nice clean smell when entering the hotel. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was good. Hot tub had no jets. The pool area had no clean towels the night we checked in or the next morning. The workout room had a large hole in the ceiling. While housekeeping was cleaning rooms, there was a vacuum sitting in hallway with the cord just all over floor, the lady standing in hallway didn’t bother to move it out the way for my daughters and I."

"This is an older hotel but was very clean, friendly staff and plenty of parking. Check in and check out was quick. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. It was very quiet. Next to a residential area and close to a medical facility as well as tourist attractions such as Old Courthouse Museum, Pettigrew House and the beautiful falls. Breakfast was typical simple breakfast but area was clean. Room had a refrigerator. Great value and would stay here again."
