The rooms were spacious, beautifully charming, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely too, a great way to start each morning. But what really won us over was the location: just a short distance from Chatsworth Estate, which was essential for us since we don't drive in the UK.
We actually spent our first few nights at The Cavendish Hotel on the estate itself, which came with high expectations — but honestly, The Pilsley Inn impressed us more, and at a better price point. It had warmth and character that felt genuinely special rather than just luxurious.
We've already decided that Chatsworth will become a regular travel destination for our family, and The Pilsley Inn will absolutely be our home base every time. Highly recommend to any Americans visiting this stunning part of the English countryside!"
