The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country."

"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

Staff very so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts, which were different every day and were freshly made local food, are probably the best breakfasts we've had in any country when travelling overseas. I felt like a true queen with it all to myself. I also opted for the full board. As with many other I can confirm the food is outstanding.
