"We were very happy with our stay here, everyone we encountered was helpful and eager to make our stay pleasant. The room was comfortable, and I had the best sleep in a month on their bed. "We have been using this hotel on and off for nearly 30 years and can always rely on its consistency. the welcome is friendly and the Manager obviously cares as he was out litter picking when we arrived so I'd say over and above ! "

"What a fantastic place to stay. Clean and comfortable room, pillows like clouds and a good nights sleep. Towels a good size. Restaurant with comfortable seats. Great decor. We ate in the evening and the best steaks we had had in a long time! Our dog was given a bowl of water. The grounds are perfect for dog walking. Grass and shingle. (Beware of the rabbit/badger holes if going out at night) We didn’t eat breakfast as we’re in a hurry but it looked like a fab selection. A great location...
