"The property has beautiful views of the ocean! My room was in a GREAT spot for awesome sunrises! The pool, hot tub, and lagoon were AMAZING!! WILD LIFE( birds, lizards, and fish were and added surprise!!"

"Hi just WiFi wasn’t that strong keep on and off , but overall everything was great . Thank you we had very awesome experience in rio also we love the entreatment at pool and night shows 🙏🙏👌💕"

"We had a problem with something getting repaired in room. It took 4 phone calls then a walk to front desk to get maintenance to come."

"The service was very poor at the adults only hotel. We had one night only where the server was excellent. I had requested multiple times at the time of booking, via email and in person to make special birthday arrangements for my husbands 40th birthday and nothing was done. I was very disappointed!!! Considering the price and the service, I’d never stay here again. We had to line up 2-3 hours before to reverse a dinner spot at one of their restaurants. It was insane!"

"Five star vacation! Everything was great, except for the food at some of the restaurants, which I'd give four stars. The buffets were very good but the menu offerings at the restaurants was limited and not the best quality. It was good but not top shelf. Everything else was top shelf especially the staff. We were well taken care of at all times at every venue by the excellent staff. The main pool and the beach were joys!"

"Had a great one week stay at the Barcelo. Clean rooms, pleasant staff for the most part. The location can’t be beat. Right on Palm beach and across from a vibrant shop and food area. The food at the resort was okay, do not expect gourmet offerings and you will not be disappointed. Will be back."

"The Resort area is massive and you need a shuttle bus to get around. The rooms are nice and big and the landscape is beautiful."

"Amazing property!"

"did not like the high resort fees"

"muy cerca del supermercado y de la playa. lindas habitaciones"

"The food was amazing, our room was very clean, and house keeping was offered every day. Great view from our balcony as well of the resort and the ocean."

"I loved everything about our stay @ Privada….staff was very helpful and very welcoming….private pool was awesome…location is very close to Eagle Beach….5 Stars …"

"Great resort. Renovated rooms were very nice. Loved the 2 drinks for 22$ happy hour each day. Pool and beach were beautiful and relaxing. Selected a garden view room but got a little peak of the ocean off of the deck!!"
