"Unfortunately this hotel has seen better days? I had a pool villa that was good, but seen better days? The restaurant (only 1 operating now) was basic. The hotel is a long way from Ubud on a very small and narrow road and did not have a shuttle service to Ubud - thus there are additional charges? However the highlight was the wonderful Art and antique collection the owner Peter has. "

"The property although in a beautiful setting and having friendly staff was run down and had stained mossie nets around the bed. One night there where holes in the sheets and there were stains in the bath and sink. The air conditioning didn’t work well at all. The food was good and they had a free shuttle service into Ubud a couple of times a day which was nice."

"Just want to say, it was a great stay at this property, location was good. Spa was ok. Gym not so great. Staff were great and very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the villa. Few negatives, mosquitoes were a problem, feel like burinh stucks or spray could be used when turn down service happens. (Had this in other hotels/villas similar) got bitten alot. The hotel itself has a plethora things that you can do on site from day tour excursions, to cooking classes, to spa days, and even requesting a floating breakfast. "The property is basic and rustic. While the villas are cute, they are poorly maintained, especially the bathrooms. It was really rather disgusting -- squashed bugs on the walls, no shower curtain, clearly the sink area had not been cleaned in years. Luckily, the bed was comfortable and appeared clean, but that was the only portion of the room that was."
