"Highly recommended!! The location is great, my room was spacious and well equipped, the food is plentiful and delicious and all the staff are happy, friendly and totally adorable!! If you're staying over Christmas/New Year, the extra effort with decorations and evening schedules is really lovely - the best I've experienced. "What a lovely location! I selected this hotel on a whim to relax after a busy tour. What a lovely place on a quiet cobblestone lane. The back faces the lagoon with a lovely view, water sports are available and the front faces the ocean and long sandy beach. Exquisite rooms, delightful staff, a charming hotel. A pleasant walk or tuk tuk to town. I enjoyed my stay. A little off the beaten path but so worth it. Oh and there is a small pool which I didn't use as the ocean was warm and so close."

"Very relaxed, easy going place, great location, breezy view of estuary. It's a large room, nice furniture, bedding etc. Bar, very diversely stocked supermarket, resistant and coffee shop downstairs, means you have most things at your fingertips. Beach is 5-10min walk, as is boat hire, (all the fun craft available). I hired a kayak for an hour, very pleasant easy lagoon and estuary paddle.its a short walk from Aluthgama station. Bentota is over the bridge. "

"Clean property and room, walking distance to the beach. Also we had a good view from the balcony (partial sea). Very nice and accommodating staff. Suresh and Shami were very helpful. Good quality food and portion size (we didn't know that breakfast was included so I suggest checking with them beforehand). Only downside was that there were ants in our room but the staff cleaned the room promptly when we notified them. A minor thing - water pressure in the shower was low so if possible fix it."
