"Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Free french press coffee service and wine happy hour. Was told the breakfast was great at the attached Forage restaurant but didn’t eat there. We walked everywhere- no car necessary. Close to shopping, great dining, Davie St, bike rentals. The Harbour waterfront and Sunset Beach. Love this area. You do pay for the location though and our view was not exciting. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Sylvia Hotel. We arrived rather late, but the check-in process was easy and staff extremely helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the area was gorgeous with many places to eat or grab a coffee nearby - not to mention right across the street from the park. Gave us a wonderful first impression of Vancouver, and we would absolutely stay here again on a future visit. "

"The air conditioning was not operating correctly. For those of us who like fresh air when we sleep, the lack of an opening window was very frustrating. Even an air vent with an electrical fan to move the air in the room would've sufficed. "

"I came here with my 10 year old daughter, amenities were great, had lots of fun in the pool! Staff super friendly and helpful as well. The location is absolutely prime, right next to BC Place and Rogers Arena, walked all around Granville and Robson and walked to Gastown too, very very good location close to it all! "
