"Our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature — exactly what we were looking for.
The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and a special thanks goes to Cesar, who truly went above and beyond. We had unexpected difficulties at the Guatemala–Belize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. "I stayed in a King Deluxe room at thought it was great value. The staff were all excellent, the hotel restaurant was great and the pool was large. Plus, the location was ideal (close enough to walk to the market / downtown but removed enough to be quiet) and there's a large grocery store directly across the street if you want snacks / sunscreen etc.
I would certainly stay at Midas Belize again."

"This hotel is the most unique and special place I think we’ve ever stayed! The property is absolutely beautiful. The five sisters waterfall on property takes the place of a resort pool and it is the most gorgeous and peaceful place to spend a day. We ended up spending two full days down there since we loved it so much. The rooms are beautiful. My husband was nervous about how hot it might be without AC, but it was not a problem at all.
