Find the best Chobe District Hotels

Was fantastic staff couldn’t be more attentive, it’s a shame that Hotels.com doesn’t pay the bills on time, sometimes the ladies who own their hotel don’t get paid for two months

Lovely clean rooms with very large comfortable beds. Excellent food and superb customer service. We also enjoyed the pool and small gym. Would return on our next visit to Kasane.

Very very clean rooms. Great breakfast and light lunch - both included. On riverfront with great view of sunset. No insects despite Kasane being full of bugs. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Amazing little guesthouse with super friendly staff and the cutest dogs and cat! We really loved our time there and want to come back. The 6-hour safari was perfect, and so was the river cruise safari. We spotted so many animals. We also used the daytrip option to Victoria Falls and it all went smoothly. The only things that could've made it better are an electric gate (so you don't need someone to open it for you), mosquito nets on the beds, and an option to do a daytrip to Livingstone...

Enjoyed sitting by the pool watching wildlife. Nice clean tents.

I used Mowana as a fishing lodge a few years back, my brother spent time at Katima Mulilo and said to me that I should visit this area, I did not till after he died of pancreatic cancer. The Chobe bewitched me when I did go and as a bucket list item for myself with bile duct cancer I have just returned to try and show my wife this area in a period of 4 days. achieved using Pyrus Eagles helicopter charter and Dream Safaris boat and guide charter.

Great facilities and good location.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. A lovely lodge located on a gentle hill overlooking the plains. Staff are phenomenal, warm and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We went on a morning game drive and a sundowner, both were excellently arranged. Whilst there is limited choice for food, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all provided and the food was tasty and homemade well seasoned. They made our daughter chips. We loved the warm rock cakes! The food was exceptional. We had a BBQ one evening and were able to invite our friends who were staying at another place. We sat around the camp fire for hours...... Lovely pool! Out in the 'bush'..... Went to sleep listening to the frogs and awoke to fantastic bird song!!!!! Easy to book game drives and visit to Victoria Falls. Highly recommend it!

The staff are wonderful, attentive, charming and incredibly helpful. The game drive's were fantastic with the guide brilliantly knowledgeable, patient and excellent at finding animals to view - we saw a pride of lions relaxing after a hunt, giraffes, zebu, antelope, hippos, baboons, naughty monkeys and hundreds and hundreds of elephants. The best part of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge apart from the staff is the watering hole. We had breakfast and dinner overlooking the watering hole watching...

This is a very basic facility. The owner Sipiwe takes care of all your shipping needs and prepares basic but fresh food on the site. She also provides transportation to excursion points and arranged all our excursions which were really great. Improvements needed
