"Double Tree is usually a pretty safe choice for a quiet good nights sleep! I dinged a star overall as the bed we had was pretty "broken" down. If you were sleeping on one side or the other, you can feel the "slope" down to the middle, regardless if you are a side sleeper or back sleeper. Usually would not bother me - but now have some back issues and a decent bed is worth it's weight especially when traveling. This is a first at a Double Tree for me. Won't keep me from coming back. Though...

"There was no hot tub. The pull out couch was broken and the mattress was stained various disgusting colors. The AC didn't work. Staff was extremely friendly and as helpful as they could be."

"The room was minimal! Bathroom-very small, you had to stand beside the toilet to close the door. Towels all over, not neat. Hot tub-What hot tub? Closed!!!!!!!!!!!!! person in little building beside pool never helped! Not informed at desk when registering!! Pool-was a distance from the room. seniors were put at rear of building!! Breakfast-no one to help in area except person gathering tickets. No hot water!! Asked for my bill when leaving and he refused! Finally gave me my bill which read $62...

"The room okay. The carpet felt dirty on bare feet. I did not like that we didn't get room service or the option for room service. The had a sticker on the bathroom mirror that said you would get room service every 3 days, which we were only staying 3 nights - no room service for fresh towels, get our trash, etc. Everywhere else I have been, they offer daily room service if I chose."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us find a restaurant and answered all our questions. The room was newly renovated and super clean. I felt safe on the property and many places were in walking distance."

"The room was awesome loved the walk in shower and the little nook for your towel so you don't even have to get out. Loved the mirror as well and the microwave mini fridge and coffee station it was all hidden only thing I didn't like was paying $15 for parking"

"When we arrived and were assigned our room there was an unusual smell and we believed it was coming from the AC unit. We originally thought is was temporary but unfortunately after 30 minutes the smell was still quite overwhelming. We had taken our concerns to the front desk. They were genuinely concerned for us; profusely apologized and instantly assigned a new room to us. My family and I decided if we were going to return in the future to visit our relatives, this would be the hotel for us....

"We liked everything about our stay....although we didn't take advantage of the breakfast, fitness center, or pool.....There is a bar on site(which would have been nice to have open longer, *but there is an Outback right next door to the hotel) We travel to Lansing yearly and we will definitely be staying here again. ***We even had an alert to take shelter for a tornado while we where staying here. The staff made sure to call all rooms for those who didn't receive the alert of their phones....

"The check in process was so fast and friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lobby has a small convenience store area that was very well stocked also. If we're ever in Lansing we'll definitely come back!"

"Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel."
