"Great modern hotel in a very small town off of the highway. We decided to stay somewhere outside of Dublin after visiting Dublin for a couple of days on our way further south to the Ireland coast. This was a perfect place for that. This was a perfect hotel for that. It was a very large facility with a great morning breakfast and a nice onsite bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when exploring the countryside in the area."

"From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. The room was cosy and clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked clean too. The location is right in the town and there’s a big car park (pay and display) behind it, with very handy EV charging. Being a busy bar, it gets noisy at night. There are good places to eat nearby in the town, and the parkrun...

"Breakfast Menu was SENSATIONAL !! Best that I have EVER Seen at a B&B. Tom was a MARVELLOUS Host and a Credit to the Hospitality industry. "Perfect hotel to stay in before heading back to Dublin. Great location to visit Kilkenny, and some of the smaller towns in between Cork and Dublin. Quaint hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Fantastic staff."

"The only thing we can complain about is that we couldn’t stay forever with Cathy! The place is much better than expected (really, much better). Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. And of course, we must mention Cathy again, she is incredibly nice, kind, intelligent, talkative, and made our one-night stay feel like being with family. " Room was perfect for my needs. The hotel grounds are just stunning Breakfast in a castle is pretty top tier! Good options for breakfast and everything was well cooked and delicious, had more a bed and breakfast feels rather than hotel with more intimate table service. I would have preferred better quality and more options with bread, rather than low quality white and brown sliced for toast that was served. I did feel this let down the breakfast. This is the only reason I dropped a star. "

"Excellent from start to finish, the welcome at the front desk, lady with blonde hair, very nice, to the rooms, which were very spacious, and 2 double beds which was great, to the food in the restaurant, the stir fry was gorgeous, the baileys sauce was fab, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the ambience in the foyer was so calm and relaxed, it was nicely decorated for Christmas, the outside of the hotel was nicely lit up with lovely reindeers."
