"Beautiful, big, modern room looking out over the river. Very quiet and convenient. The bath was big enough i could lay down all the way, I am 5'8". We were misinformed regarding the breakfast, if you want it a 12£ book the night before, or you're stuck paying 17£. I spoke with manager about it, she was very nice and understanding but did not reimburse us the 10£, which i found a bit cheeky. If we were back home in Montreal, they would of reimbursed us! "We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Boclair - the building is a lovely art deco style building. Very clean, great room and a lovely breakfast. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. We had a great chat with Brendan on the front desk and we would highly recommend the hotel. "

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. "Fantastic central hotel with a lovely vibe. The rooms are quite small but well appointed. Outstanding breakfast with loads of variety. The bar and lobby are brilliantly set up with everything from work stations to recreational areas, plus there's a gym. The staff are super friendly and overall it made for a lovely stay. "

"Very clean, kitchen was great, shower too. The only remark I could have made to the staff was that the plug in the kitchen sink was missing. For small amount of dishes the dishwasher does not need to be used."

"The staff from reception desk to restaurant/bar to housekeeping were all excellent, helpful, friendly during my whole stay. Two key staff were brilliant, Anton - he was friendly, approachable and gave hints and tips of places to see and go as a newbie in Glasgow. Also, the lady (sorry forgot her name) who accommodated me with a conference room for my job interview. "

"Fantastic personnel, very good buffet breakfast, nice bar with a great selection of gins and scotch whiskys, rooms were clean and attractive. Parking location is not free and directions to get there are unclear. It is a solid block walking from the parking garage to the hotel. "
