"We stayed here for 3 nights while we were in Sta Cruz. The place was really nice and spacious rooms, very clean, complete facilities with nice little touches such as line to dry your clothes, usb sockets, and a hammock. The place looks the same in the photos. Max and his family were very welcoming and helpful and responsive. He helped us find tours and gave us tips to do and see in the island. The locations is also great. Few minutes walk to the Charles Darwin street, so you are in the centre...

"The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception. "Short but comfortable stay here! The front desk was really helpful with arranging our boat tickets to Santa Cruz for the following day. Additionally, they came in early at 6am to help us with our bags, escorted us to the dock nearby, and packed a small bag of breakfast for us to have on the boat! We really appreciated that service! "Excellent value for money. Staff were always friendly & ready to help. Rooms were spacious with en suites & tv. & I enjoyed relaxing by the pool at the end of each day & dipping in to cool off. It’s not the most luxurious hotel in the world & breakfast is basic, but what would you expect for £209 for 6 nights over new year. If you want 5* star facilities & treatment go & pay £200 per night at one of the more luxurious hotels nearby, I struggle to believe some of the negative reviews I read here...
