I would recommend The Rock for lunch or cocktails and the Galapagos Deli for breakfast - their freshly baked bread is delicious. The Charles Darwin research centre is obviously worth a visit and is free!

"Amazing location overlooking the bay. We saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and lots of fish just sitting at the bar sipping cocktails. Breakfast is at the sister hotel across the road. The food served is from 2pm-10pm only (and also comes from across the street) and is cash only but very delicious ..."

We were a little disappointed with Puerto Ayora it is more commercialised that we thought. However we had a great time. Highlights - tortoises in Highlands, Seymour Norte and Las Grietas - oh and the street food at night.
