"Don't expect a fancy hotel with this one. It is somewhat run down. Some door handles were broken, baseboards and carpets messed up, bathroom with rusty ceiling. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. The breakfast included was a grab-and-go breakfast bar with cereal, granola bars, fruit, and donuts. There is nothing hot for breakfast. Make sure you look at the Palm Island Waterpark hours. It's advertised in the name, but it was only opened for a few hours on the weekend when we came in...

"Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the location and the quietness of the hotel. If you have a normal diet (no allergies like me) then this breakfast looked delicious!! All in all would recommend!! "

"The hot complimentary breakfast was amazing! A lot of other hotels only offer muffins and cereal, the breakfast we were offered filled up the kids and myself before a long trip back home. Room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave, perfect for keeping our drinks cold without needing to keep them in a cooler and warming up leftover food to save a little money on dining out. "We stayed at the Attican Motel while spending the day at Darien Lake and seeing a concert that night. It is only a 15 minute drive away. The motel sits on a hill above the main road, so it was pretty quiet. The photos don’t really do it justice and it looks even nicer in person.
