"The first room the door wouldn't open with the key card. The attendant had to open the door with her key. The ac unit had broken vents and was full of mold. The towels were filthy along with the room and the tv didn't work. The second room needed towels but it was cleaner than the first one. "

"The room had roaches and a light fixture was out. The quality of breakfast was not as good as in the past stays. Informed staff of the room and was given a different room on the third floor that was better. The carpet in both rooms were pretty worn out. "

"The room smelled strongly of bleach and we could not stay as we found it hard to breathe. There was also no soap when we arrived. Hotel staff were very courteous and understood our problem with the bleach smell immediately. They told us to contact Expedia to get the refund of what we had paid in advance. We have not yet received that refund. The amount charged when we arrived at the hotel desk was refunded promptly. Parking was confusing. There is a lot adjacent the building, but you must climb many stairs to enter that way. There is supposedly more parking in a catty corner lot, but we didn't stay long enough to see it. Select the "courtyard view" if you want to be able to see part of downtown Natchitoches from your room. The "historic view" now looks on what seems to be a parking garage."
