"My wife and I were celebrating our third anniversary and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly in our room was very clean. However, there is some deferred maintenance on a few parts of the resort that they seem to be working on and improving at a gradual pace so you’ll see some of that however, the location is awesome. We were able to just go over to the Highport Marina and rent a boat and go out on the lake. Once they do all their upgrades I can give them a five star on...

"I do like this hotel, however, our room had a very bad smell to it. Not exactly sure what it was but I ended up buying some room spray to alleviate the odor a little."

"Very nice place to stay on the lake. Beautiful views!"

"Clean and quiet"

"On first glance the property looked fine. A little dated but ok. After spending the night I went for breakfast. mind you they start serving at 6 am and I went down at 6:30 am. The sausage and bacon were cold. There was only a spoon of potatoes and NO eggs. I alerted staff and about 10 minutes later the eggs were filled. I went back to my room to make my wife some tea. There was a roach inside the plastic wrapper covering the cups. I went to shower and it was not very clean and the...

"The LaQuinta Inn was ID as a "pet friendly" so I expected a charge for our pet, but they added a $100 deposit for damages, refund of 4-7 days after check out. We checked in and assigned room 103, we moved our bags into the room and there wasn't a shower curtain in the tub. Called the desk and we were moved to rm 104, moved our bags over. room was clean. found the sink facet dripped, couldn't stop it, the toilet seat was loose, I tightened it, the flush handle was loose jamming the float ball,...

"Need better house keeping"

"The breakfast should be better and the rooms/bathrooms were not very clean at all. The light fixtures were broken and not covered and the front desk people to ask for help was not present"

"Great stay"

"The air conditioning worked great and the staff was very helpful!"

"Completamente muy buena estadía un desayuno excelente con un sabor delicioso"

"Clean and comfortable place to stay"

"No coffee pot. TV required a pin# to watch most channels. Only 2 almost brown bath towels and one dirty washcloth"

"He was rude wanted to know the name of a minor child staying with me. The room rates for lone star are on the back property where long term residence stay. We did not feel stay there for we told him to cancel my stay and we went and rented another room at another hotel that was recently built, and they were much more helpful."
