Be aware when compared to the reserves further East such as Amakali, there are far fewer animals and the grounds are smaller and less rugged terrain. The accommodation is on the edge of the enclosure so safe from wild animals."

"We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! "

"This is a very comfortable and cozy place to stay for a one night stand or a longer period, to discover the surroundings. We came to stay only one night but decided to extend our staying as the friendliness, cleanliness, comfort (kitchen, braai facilities, room/bathroom) were absolutely great!"
