"Glad we stayed at Royal Sonesta for a week. My family had a great time. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were clean and we spent a lot of time in water. The kalpaki beach access is a great convenience. The food at kukui restaurant was great. The staff were very helpful and the concierge helped me plan out my week to my requirements. "Don't waste your money and time at this Outrigger - terrible beach (definitely no swimming). Rooms are dated and staff are not very friendly/helpful. Restaurants: nothing to write home about but very expensive. Note: they charge a RESORT FEE and PARKING FEES. Resort fee for what??? Plus you can only park in their pay parking lot - no other choice. Terrible location "

"Front desk staff was rude at check in, we were given the wrong room, the property is so old the air conditioners and front door were completely rusted out, and the cottage rooms are right next to a huge public park right out the windows and front door. "

"This place was perfect for our family. There is a huge pool and hot tubs and it's right on the ocean. It's right across the street from Safeway and also next to an ice cream shop! Super convenient location and it's so nice to have a full kitchen in the room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were super clean. We will definitely stay here again."
