"This was a magnificent hotel. Tucked out of the way in the quiet rural part of the West Bank. The staff were super sweet and attentive and nothing was too much to ask. The room was gorgeous with heaps of character, you felt every bit of furniture had a story to tell. The food was the best we ate on our 2 week trip of Egypt, high quality and classy yet not ridiculously expensive. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"We had a most splendid time at Djorff Palace. From the minute we arrived with the hotel’s river boat, we felt transported back in time. To a time where the dull uniformity of big corporate hotels did not exist. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. "The biggest attraction of this hotel is its location, where you can see the city of Luxor and the Nile River from the rooftop restaurant. If you ask the hotel manager, you can also take a "felucca" ride, which is about a 10-minute walk away. However, if you value facilities, I would recommend other hotels."
