"It's pretty basic, hot and sticky with plenty of flying, buzzing, screeching creatures, but you're in the rainforest so what do you expect? The main lodge meeting area is open plan, very spacious with plenty of place to chill, except you can't because it's flipping hot! Good value cold drinks though and the food is reasonable considering you're in a lodge in the Amazon. "Eine lauschige Sitzgruppe in gepflegtem Grün - so zeigt es das Aufmacherfoto. Die Realität: Ein trostlose Zimmer, zwei Betten, ein Stuhl, nur kaltes Wasser und Licht im Bad funktioniert nicht. Die 24-Stunden-Rezeption war im 19.30 nicht besetzt, sodass wir durchs Fenster einsteigen musste. Die inzwischen schrottreife Sitzgruppe war von den Hühnern im Garten als Toilette genutzt, der Hahn weckte pünktlich um 4.00 Uhr. "Posadas was a lovely jungle lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful with amazing service. Beautiful setting and Rainforest Expeditions made our transportation and excursions smooth and flawless. Food was fresh and delicious satisfying to the taste buds. The jungle sounds were wonderful to wake up to and helped to send you off to sleep. I highly recommend and would love to return sometime. A lot of wildlife just around the lodge."

"Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning. "

"The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food.
We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...
