"I stayed two nights and nobody came to clean my room, despite the fact that I hung a "please clean my room" sign outside my door from morning until late at night. I simply informed the receptionist (without even complaining) the following day during my checkout. The receptionist simply stated, "Why didn't you call last night, now the duty person has already left," without sorry or apologizing, and with an unhappy demeanor, as if it were all our fault."

"Guest Service staff was helpful in checking in and arranging the Melaka River Cruise. F&B & Kitchen staff are helpful and friendly. Even though i ordered room service 5 minutes before their closing time, they agreed to cook and send it over to my room without showing sour face. "A few minutes walk from the Dutch square and Jonker street. You can go on foot to everywhere. The room has no window (I take most of the guesthouses doesn't) but you can sit at the back of the house on the river. Most of the guesthouses have these riverside tables and chairs, it means if some people make noise late at night you may have trouble to get sleep. Wifi signal didn't reach to my room. Stayed two nights and no room cleaning. Shower was cold. No breakfast and the front door opens...
