"great facility and very reasonably priced during off season"

"The property is in the ski area right next to the gondola. It was very quiet and peaceful. We went there in off-season and perhaps that was the reason for quietness. Gondola was not operational due to season. Drive to the town was pleasant. Great views. Our stay was very relaxing and the staff was helpful."

"The Tamarack is a historic inn in a gorgeous setting. A lovely place to spend time. The historic rooms are small by today's standards but clean and comfortable and add to the historic experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is continental but good."

"Older property without television!"

"I had a solo queen room, which was comfy as can be. Between the soft sheets, the ample pillows, and well-stocked restrooms, I couldn’t have asked for more! The staff was particularly friendly, and they made me feel truly welcome and special. The community features (such as the fridge and the outside area) also made for great conversational opportunities!"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well stocked, and spacious. The other guests were quiet and we had a peaceful rest after hiking in Yosemite that week. Highly recommend. "
