"Clean room and great staff"

"Wonderful place at a great price. The garden and fountain is nice, and I enjoyed hiking on the trail in the back.. Front desk staff were excellent (especially Riley). My only negative is that I was there for a week, and never received housekeeping services. They did stop by once, and I asked them to return in about 30 minutes, but in a week it didn't happen. It won't affect my willingness to return- I will definitely be back- but it would have been nice."

"shampoo bottle was empty, conditioner bottle was empty. Breakfast staff pulled eggs 10 mins early and when we asked why she said were closing soon. Soon is not right now, eggs should have still been available till breakfast was completely over!"

"Nice location right on the water. Had restaurant over looking the water, food nothing to brag about but ok. Reasons for a 3 rating, the beds were short like camper beds. I'm 5'10" and unless my head was next to the headboard my feet were hanging off the end of the bed. Had little square pillows. Went to shower in the morning and bathroom floor was wet, had water dripping from ceiling. A/C unit was very loud when it kicked in, not normal , they switched us to a new room because of the water leak...

"Sheets where clean and bed looked perfect and not just slopped together! Lobby, hallway and room smelled clean!! Clerk was friendly and helpful! All amenities worked and nothing alarming for broken. Sadly I managed a hotel so my expectations are higher than most. Some hair on bathroom floor behind door. Fridge shelves had a few crumbs on it. Floor could of been vacuumed better. Overall for some review on other hotels I passed to come here was top notch. Will return when I'm in the area."

"The room was neat, clean, comfortable and historic. Every member that works there is the absolute epitome of what hospitality is supposed to be. Every single person there goes out of their way to be helpful. Parking can be a challenge, but with that said the are enough spaces. Shout out to Jason the night staff, what a great guy. Breakfast is an unbelievable experience. Ruthie our server makes service an Olympic sport of which she win Gold everytime. We drove 2,180 miles just to stay here for...

"This is an Okay place to stay--the staff is friendly and eager to help. But the place is pretty old, and not soundproof at all. Even though it's a non-smoking place, there are cigarette butts and cans littered on the grass."

"Provided everything we needed. Simple exercise room with free weights and benches, elliptical and treadmill. Room and bed were both comfortable."

"Our room smelled of smoke, the shower had mold around the ceiling, the ice maker in our room didn't work, the pool was closed, and the channel lineup sheet was not correct. This place was a hot mess. Jeff was very friendly and helpful at the front desk but at one point we sat in the lobby hanging out and watched a lady wait for over 20 minutes for sometime to come back and help her. We will not stay here again."
