"It is a beautiful hotel. That is why we came back. However, I was rather disappointed with the lack of maintenance of the ground. When planning to come back to my family's reunion, I specifically booked this hotel because of the esthetic. When my sister and I were there two years ago, we sat on the back patio, took pictures of and by the lake. This year the grass was overgrown, the furniture was all but destroyed and could not be used. There was nothing pleasing about it at all. The main thing that brought us back was not there. I'm seriously debating whether I'm going to reserve the room again next year. Everything else, I can get somewhere else. I opted to forgo my discounts with Marriott and Hilton properties to be near that lake, and I want able to enjoy it."
