"Das Hotel mit Restaurant und Bar ist so schön. Die Hotelzimmer sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem sauber und total ausreichend. Alle Mitarbeiter in diesem Hotel sind freundlich, ausgeglichen und umwerfend hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sowas von lecker und nicht teuer. Nicht für gehbehinderte Menschen geeignet, gibt steile Treppen. Das Hotel kann ich wirklich empfehlen, wenn man Gemütlichkeit und Service sucht."

"After two weeks of camping, we really appreciated the lovely bed and fantastic shower at this place. Not a lot of things were open when we got there later in the evening; if you are on foot, getting there from the Ijmuiden rail station is tricky. Not a lot of cabs want to come and get you. But the staff was truly kind and indulgent, and there's a bar and wonderful restaurant right on site. It's 700 m to the Newcastle ferry, and we know this because we walked it with our luggage.
