"Perfectly fine for the price but wouldn’t want to pay more. The rooms are very basic, pretty tired and ours was a little dirty (rubbish under the beds). Fine for a night stopover and the breakfast was quite good for the price although I’d recommend getting in before 8 as the queue of people waiting for a table after this filled the lobby"

"Being pet friendly was a winner for us. It was so good to be able to bring them with us. Despite the room allocated as the pet friendly room, it was clean and had no animal smell. Recommend."

"The room was very comfortable and staff were lovely. Breakfast was great and lots of options for kids too."

"Khách sạn ở khu trung tâm đi lại rất tiện lợi. Tuy nhiên két sắt bị hỏng, đã báo sửa vài lần, thấy ghi chép sẽ cho kỹ thuật tới sửa nhưng ở 5 ngày 4 đêm mà không thấy sửa. "

"Current construction works for the light rail extension compromises what otherwise is a good location. The hotel itself seems a little tired, particularly in the hallways leading to the rooms and the room itself. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking."

"Great city centre location. We were travelling as three adults. The two-bedroom apartment is a generous size. Gym and pool outstanding. Easy walk or Uber to everything."

"Great apartment hotel for families."

"This was probably the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. I understand that they were booked out over the long weekend but that’s no excuse for anything! Executive suite for my family, the sofa bed was terrible..springs literally digging into your back. Bedroom was not clean. Food left in the foyer for 3 days from people ordering room service. The only decent part of this hotel is the lobby bar, otherwise I would definitely not recommend this place. Nor would I ever stay there again."

"Rooms tidy & spacious. Breakfast was OK."

"This is a real bucket list experience. We chose the 1 night stay which included full board and a guided tour of the Zoo. We also did the additional Meerkat Experience at extra cost on our arrival day. We had a Lemur room and we could also see the lion enclosure from our room. The Zoo was amazing as was the food and drinks served - all top notch!"

"Clean and spacious room, staff were friendly and helpful, restaurants and pub downstairs great! So lucky there were kids school holidays activities on the weekend we arrived!"

"I would return to the Hyatt in a heartbeat. Old school charm without the chintz feels. Elegant. Staff were lovely especially Ben in reception. Facilities were great. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom had the best amenities and shower pressure. Will try the breakfast next time. It was too busy (school hols). They even have a hotel dog Pixie (lab). V happy and impressed and it’s now my favourite Canberra hotel."

"Excellent facilities."

"Great family stay as usual! Why does check in take so long though when I’d booked through Expedia?! Also refreshments in room weren’t replaced"

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Avenue Hotel. Reception staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Our room was very well appointed & spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend having breakfast if staying at The Avenue there was a great selection and everything l chose was delicious. On top of all that great location to get around and see everything Canberra has to offer. Would definitely stay again next time I visit Canberra."

"I enjoyed the quietness and having other family members able to stay in the same area , would’ve good to have somewhere to wash dishes other than the bathroom"

"The hotel is located in a quiet area, with a place to park your car overnight and a Woolies across the road. Kitchenette makes self-catering possible, but we just ordered room service (didn't wait long at all - reasonably priced). Bed was soft with crisp linen. Room was clean. We were able to stream onto the big TV from our devices. All up: great spot!"

"The hotel was reasonable for the price. The room was modern and functional. My only concern is that we got placed in a ‘pet’ room, which had dog hair and stains on the rug and it smelt like dog. I love that hotels are pet friendly, however you also need to clean more thoroughly and give people the option of whether they want to be placed in a pet or no pet room. When we talked to reception about it they couldn’t move us and they didn’t even offer to clean or remove the rug. For me this was an...
