"The B&B host Fabio was very helpful. He helped organize a tour of Matera with an English speaking guide. He sent us an SMS to be sure he was there when we arrived for an early check in. He provided an array of delicious items for breakfast, and a coffee when we arrived. The B&B was very affordable and within easy walking distance of the main site: the Sassis of Matera."

Hotel has connections with private transportation services that are all accountable. My son was sick during the stay and hotel helped us get transportation to emergency at 10pm (there was limited public taxi in the town). "Convenient location,but except for that this place is not a good value for the money. There is no one in the reception so if you need any help you need to manage on your own. I had a lot of hassle with the key and spent time just getting in and out of the place. Room was ok, but missed a balcony and a refrigerator. The breakfast is served in the restaurant next door and it is not very impressive. Dry "cornetto" and rather old fruit. Not worth the money you pay for accommodation."
