"We’ve stayed at dozens of luxury hotels all over the world, and the Lux Grand Gaube is up there towards the very top of the list. The hotel design is jawdroppingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is 1st class- excellent variety and quality of dining options. Plenty of tasty veggie food. The live cooking stations are at the top of their game. The beach is spotless, plenty of spaces to relax, clear water, plenty of water activities are included. "

"Close to grand baie town- 15/20 min walk. Good room size, great showers, all basic toiletries and hand towl provided. Excellent beach, lots of beds and private beach. Great acitivies included in room rate and easily accessible"

"Property was very good for a family. We took 2 separate rooms. Staff were accommodating to give us rooms adjacent to each other. Rooms were spacious. Good restaurant in the property and breakfast was included. Though lunch was a bit expensive. Has a private beach and some activities included in the price which was a plus. The only negative which needs to be taken care of is that the toilet has no door to separate it from the bathroom or from the bedroom also. While this may have been done...

"L’hôtel est sublime, calme et il y a toujours de la place pour se reposer sur une chaise longue ou pour prendre un verre. Les activités proposées et les paysages époustouflants ont fait de notre séjour une expérience inoubliable, kayak, bbq à Granzil, sortie en catamaran, kids club. Les différents restaurants sont très bons, en particulier le Manao (thaï) Le personnel de l’hôtel est attentionné sympathique et serviable, nous y reviendront sans hésiter ! Merci pour tout ! "

"Die Unterkunft hat eine hervorragende Lage. Die Hotelzimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Es wird jeden Tag geputzt und frische Handtücher werden hingelegt. Leider hatten wir dreimal Riesenkakerlaken in unserem Zimmer. Das Essen war extrem Lecker und jeden Tag unterschiedlich. Wir haben am ersten Tag unseres Aufenthalts von Halbpension auf All inklusive geupgraded. Nun leider wurden wir jeden Tag bis zum Tag der Abreise gefragt, ob wir Halbpension haben oder All inklusive. Das war ziemlich nervig....

"This property really is the perfect hotel. The staff, the food, the view it’s all just lovely. The only negative me and my partner could find was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurants menus. Staying in other hotels of this this standard they would look to make items off the menu as a vegetarian dish, this wasn’t offered. "

"The (very) big plus for Jag's Villa is the location - 5 min. drive to the airport. Otherwise the rooms are standard, clean and without any deficiencies. The property is fenced/gated. The housekeepers are very friendly and accommodating. One issue travelers should be aware of: the only accepted payment form is CA$H. (receipt may be a hagle)."

"Good hospitality. Breakfast & dinner of very good standard. Swimming pool facility, which is kept very clean. Help and guidance very good. "

"You get what you pay for. These are a great price for space and location. They are a little tired and there's a lack of sunbeds, but overall great value for money. Beware the overspill from the clubs nearby - outside with very loud music til 6am one morning. But that's not the property's fault. The dogs are noisy but not aggressive."
