"the only good thing about the place is that it was on the beach , the breakfast was okay only. the rest of the place was the pits , run down , dirty, inadequate, not maintained. if i had seen the place before i paid the high price for it, i would not have booked in or stayed their. EXPEDIA have got a lot to answer for."

"A stunning resort with the friendliest, most kind and helpful staff. Beautiful basic rooms, lovely pool and grounds. In good weather, some great snorkelling but in bad weather and high trade winds, a difficult place to enjoy the ocean. Pays to have a hire car but the resort offers daily outings. Amazing menu and often have special events with special menus in the evenings. Also has a beautiful spa onsite but pays to book in advance as it books out fast in advance. Quite far from everywhere so...

"On arrival I paid for our accommodation and was charged in Samoan Tala my booking was in NZD. When I checked my bank account the next day I found I had been charged substantially more than the amount confirmed in my booking. I raised the issue with reception and was told they would investigate. After receiving no response to a follow up email to reservations I eventually contacted the General Manager who resolved the issue promptly.

"Our favourite stay of our trip around Samoa. Lovely, relaxed and friendly. The location is perfect, the food excellent and the staff so kind and friendly. Next time we're going to skip the "fancy" resorts and just head straight here. The rooms are spacious, they are basic with a fan (no air-conditioning) and a mosquito net, the bathroom is a shared facility with only cold water. But the vibe is excellent.

"The location is special and Samoa has real charm, people are genuine and friendly. Service is a little haphazard and food is not top end.
Would I recommend to anyone to stay here? for the location yes 100%, and hopefully other wrinkles get ironed out in time.
This has the potential to be a really great destination but it’s got a little distance to go."
